'If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration"

Nicola Tesla

Reiki was developed in Japan by Mikao Usui in the 1920s.

Karuna Ki Is a more recent system that was created by (Usui) Master William Rand.  Though Karuna takes it to another level with a different feel, the Karuna system uses utilises the  Usui Reiki system as its foundation, creating a harmony and therefore I apply` them both as one system.

When we are in lower states of vibration/consciousness, our energy can be thought of as sluggish or stagnant, leading to conditions like anxiety, insomnia, situational depression and mental illness.

The Far East has known for centuries that emotions lead to physical illness.

This is something that western medicine is gradually acknowledging.

'Energy, is neither created nor destroyed' Albert Einstein

Energy can only be transmuted from one form or vibration to another.  A reiki practitioner is a facilitator of this process.

Reiki is now recognised and supplied as a complimentary therapy by the NHS.
